For Us and By Us CIC is a Community Interest Company on a mission to create opportunities in the arts that so that the industry is more accessible to those from underrepresented communities such as black, racially diverse, and LGBTQ communities. Our founders and members, Peter and Leone, are both creatives originally from the Moss Side and Hulme area of Manchester.
Peter Ennis is a qualified sound engineer and has nearly 30 years experience of working in the music industry. His experience spans many sectors, band and tour manager, promoter, and he also previously owned a drum and bass record label.
He currently works as a mentor and study skills tutor with students who are neurodivergent, mostly those with autism and particularly those studying the arts.
Peter is keen to level the playing field for creative individuals with neurodiversity.
Leone has a range of experience in the arts and community engagement and development. This includes international DJ and dance gigs, as well as organising music, dance and literary events.
